Word comes from the Sierra County Shrine Club that on February 1, 2008, the Potentate and his Aides came to T or C, along with members from Las Cruces for a planning and informational meeting. The consensus was that everybody seemed to have received something out of it. It was truly a great group and much was discussed.

The Pote and members from Albuquerque will be attending the Ralph Edwards Fiesta in T or C on May 3, 2008. All members from around the state and neighboring areas are invited to participate as well. It will also serve as the Potentate’s visit. In accordance with that there will be a meal served at the home of Carl and his Lady Joan Webb in Elephant Butte immediately after the parade. Everyone is also invited to this event. Please let us know at 575-744-4288 or 575-744-4068. This is so we will be sure to have enough food for everyone. We look forward to this event every year. If you are able to join us at fiesta time we would like you to know that Elephant Butte Lake is at a good level for any kind of water fun you may enjoy. It is expected to stay that way all year. So why not plan on staying a day or two and enjoying it?
