At the 2009 Ballut Abyad Circus with the Youth Band

Ballut Abyad Bagpipe Band meets every Thursday at the Shrine Center for Practice.

We invite all that have an interest in learning the bagpipes or drums to join us from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Thursday.

Regular band practice begins with chanter practice at 7:00, followed by full band at 7:30 PM.

The Shrine Pipes and Drums are very active within the Shrine as well as in the Celtic Community where we take our message of “We March so Children can Walk”, throughout the southwest. We are also active in the many charity walks in the Albuquerque area including the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk, Taking Strides Against Breast Cancer, Susan G Koman’s Race for the Cure, M S Bike-a-thon and several events for Cystic Fibrosis.
