For Caravan Club, February 2008
Caravan Club may have started slow this year but is now up and running very smoothly. We have some great programs planned and listed below are a few of special note.
Bill Previtti continues to inform and entertain the last Monday of each month with door prizes and great speakers. He is associated with the Indian Gaming and they supply him with a lot of speaker talent plus valuable door prizes like free meals, small hand outs and even jackets.
March 18th is Saint Patrick’s Day. It is our fiftieth anniversary celebration with the Knights of Columbus. This year is our turn to host the get-together with Larry German and Ed Tanuz planning the party and leading the charge to a great annual reunion.
May 13th is Ladies Day. May all the great ladies of our Shrine show up for this one. As always, the Honored Ladies have a special invite to join us.
July is planned as Masonic month with Tom Davies organizing the speakers. He has chosen to bring the Masonic youth groups to tell us what they are doing. The Job’s Daughters are scheduled for July 1, the Rainbow Girls in formals on July 8, the DeMolay on July 15 and on July 23 Joe Shelton will represent the Grand Lodge with an overview of the youth programs in New Mexico.
Lunch is served nearly every Monday at 11:30 AM with Berna Parra doing a great
job from the kitchen. Come try us for a neat experience and good food. Last
week we learned about how to weather the Bear Market and this next Monday, we
hear about our hospitals from Orvis Creel and a representative from
